Who is "Cosculluela"?

Who is the artist behind the single "Cuidado Au Au" that has taken the radio
stations and music industry on a roller coaster ride? Some people call him "Cosculluela",
"El Principe del Verso", but others like me call him, "Coscu"! Jose Fernando
Cosculluela Suarez is a Puero Rican Reggaeton & Hip Hop singer-songwriter who at
a young age became involved with music and the underground world. His aggressive
style, diversity and lyrics has everyone wanting for more. His first appearance
was on Don Omar's Bandoleros and the rest was history. In 2009, Cosculluela
released his first album "El Principe" (The Prince), and his second album "Prrrum"
hit the industry in November of this year 2010. Artists included Ivy Queen,
Jomar, De La Ghetto, Jowell & Randy, Zion & Lennox & O'Neill.
Today, Cosculluela is an icon and one of the most acclaimed artists on the
streets, by the media, the DJ's, the nightclubs, and the underground world. His
flow and unique rapping style is what distinguishes from others. His songs have
hit the internet and the streets of many countries such as the United States,
Latin America, and South America making him one of the best. He has managed to
capture not only the streets with his music, but individuals who did not listen
to this genre of music. He is said to be one of the HOTTEST and most talented
Reggaeton artist of 2010. His singles that have becomes everyone's hit songs
include, "Dime Quien", "Cuidau Au Au", and "Prrrum".

Tell us about your new record?
I had the record put together for my first disc, El Principe. We negotiated with
the label, along with Elias from White Lion, who's part of my management team.
And I gave the label 18 tracks, from which they put out an album with 15,
leaving out three. Of those there was one called "Humo" ("Smoke"), you know, for
the smokers. There was another called "De Noche y de Dia" ("Night and Day"),
which is a duo with Yandel. And "Cuidao Au Au," which is the single we're
working on now. (miaminewtimes.com)

So the album came out without those tracks, and I had a lot of faith in "Cuidao Au Au," just like I had a lot of faith in "Prrrum," which the label didn't, and that's the one that hit. But "Humo" got pirated some six months ago, and it was getting more play than "Prrrum." So the label says, "we're competing against ourselves here." So they decided to put those tracks on the relaunch [Ghost Edition], which is El Principe along with these tracks that I wanted on originally. And now we're working on the second album, working with some of the top in the genre, like Tego, Wisin y Yandel, who are always there for me, just like I'm always there for them. And I'm just very happy, to tell you the truth. (miaminewtimes.com)
